Penang is a little tropical island off the coast of West Malaysia famous all over the world for its unique multi-cultural heritage and lovely beaches.
Perhaps that's why its also refered to as the Pearl of the Orient but its also quite well-known for the huge variety of food available all over the island.
As you might have guessed, eating is one of our favourite pastimes!
 
 
Of course, nowadays, everybody knows we're amongst the friendliest and most gracious of people anywhere. If you come to Penang, we'll ply you with so much food of so many varieties that you won't be able to walk straight...if I can stop eating it all, I might be able to take a few pictures of Penang's most famous hawker dishes and put them up here for you to see...
